G-Man’s highlights of 2016: Day 8 – Tales of Mystery and Imagination

Dundee’s Terrier Studios was a publisher I stumbled across earlier in the year at the first Dunfermline Comic Con and after picking up the first two issues of their Tales of Mystery and Imagination I was pretty much hooked.

Thise first two issues were a unique blend of adaptations and new creations and I subsequently picked up their third issue at this Year’s Thought Bubble which was more of the same.  The real progress was made in the quality of the writing & art as the teams have improved as each issue comes out giving an exciting buzz around each issue when you get your hands on it.  Each story across the issues has a similar dark edge to them but the pacing and injection of humour with some of the shorter stories it all becomes a complete package that entertains in the way that comics really should.
