The latest two issues of School of the Damned from Vital Publishing brings a two-part story to a conclusion and kick starts a new tale in their flagship horror release.
Vital Publishing have been a constant source of some great titles and in recent times they’ve added a more diverse range to their list of titles but they’re debuting a further five books (yes 5!!!) at this weekends Edinburgh Comic Con….time for a catch-up!!!!
Vital Publishing writer/co-founder John Farman has never shied away from courting controversy in pursuit of a good story (go check out Royal Descent for that) but his newest release, Generation Gun, is aiming to push those boundaries even further.
Vital Publishing will be releasing two new titles at this weekends Edinburgh Comic Con and I was lucky enough to get an advanced look at both.
Vital Publishing’s flagship title School of the Damned by John Farman hits its 7th issue with a change of main artist but the hope was that this new 2-part story would keep the same momentum ticking along.
Artist John Howard has worked on some of my favourite indie releases in recent years and in particular, Royal Descent from Vital Publishing and I’m even lucky enough to own some of the original pages from that title (as well as some other sketches) but he’s a name that hopefully more will come to recognize.
While John Farman has impressed with his previous horror titles like School of the Damned & Royal Descent, his change of direction was always going to be one I’d jump at the chance to read and his latest title from Vital Publishing sees John team up with Jason Mathis to bring us covert comic Spies.
