Madius Comics & Mad Robot Comics are already established Indie comic producers in their own right but when these powerhouses put their creative heads together on a title – it’s instantly got the feeling of something to take notice of.
Russell Mark Olson is a creator that has already impressed in the likes of Lady Hollywood & Gateway City and it took just a glimpse of the cover of this new title to convince a pulp fan like me that this was a book I had to get my hands on.
The first volume of Russell Mark Olsen’s Gateway City collects the opening four issues of his series and a pulp series with a sci-fi edge to it seemed to tick far too many boxes associated to some of my favourite things to risk missing out……feverish reading & re-reading is GO!!!
Cadavers from Mad Robot Comics became an impressive world when Matt Hardy introduced it to us in those first three issues and before we see how that first arc plays out he’s only gone & thrown an anthology in our direction too.
Accent UK have pretty much always been a source of favourite indie releases since Comics Anonymous began and they’ve recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for their newest annual book – Enter the Asylum.
While Cult Empire Comics have already produced some cracking horror titles like Vietnam Zombie Holocaust & Vampires Everywhere, the latest release sees a change of theme as they bring us a story of detectives, gangsters & corruption.
