John Richard Farman (on the right) has produced the likes of Spies, Purity Ring and Royal Descent through Vital Publishing and as it hit a three-year milestone last month, it was about time for another catch-up with him.
Artist John Howard has worked on some of my favourite indie releases in recent years and in particular, Royal Descent from Vital Publishing and I’m even lucky enough to own some of the original pages from that title (as well as some other sketches) but he’s a name that hopefully more will come to recognize.
Vital Publishing released the fourth issue of it’s Royal Descent title just recently and they’ll be following that up with a collected trade soon too, so it seemed like a perfect time to catch-up & revisit a book that already impressed.
Vital Publishing had a jam-packed year of releases to try to maintain with some previous titles getting a reprint, some titles being continued & some new titles being introduced.
After catching up with writer John Richard Farman about Vital Publishing I got an early look at the much-anticipated Royal Descent #2 ahead of it’s launch night this coming Sunday 22nd February.
