The first issue of Dave Wimblett’s The Hoards of Surrey was a slick beginning & backing the rest of the series was always on the cards for me so getting a look at the second part ahead of the finale was a must.
Rob Jones & Mike Sambrook already have already released two impressive issues of their Griff Gristle creation into the world and getting an early look at the third issue was something I just HAD to jump on-board with.
Cadavers from Mad Robot Comics became an impressive world when Matt Hardy introduced it to us in those first three issues and before we see how that first arc plays out he’s only gone & thrown an anthology in our direction too.
Writer Nicholas Stephen Paul and artist Rory Donald already impressed with the first issue of their Resurrection Men series (reviewed here) and with the second issue hitting Kickstarter I was lucky enough to get an early look at where it’s taking us.
The second issue of Griff Gristle from Madius Comics has smashed through its Kickstarter target in much the same way as the first issue did and given how strong a start there was in that opener….that was no surprise!
The Papercuts and Inkstains quarterly anthology from Madius Comics has been an eclectic mix of horror, sci-fi, fantasy & more and after ploughing their way through six issues the team are aiming to collect them all into a single volume through Kickstarter.
