Today may well be a typical Wednesday with pull-lists filling up with the latest comic releases but among those releases we see 2000AD hit it’s milestone Prog 2000.
Jupiter’s Legacy already kicked off with an impressive first volume and to follow that up with an even more impressive start to volume 2 was a showcase for the Millar/Quitely creative team.
Mark Millar & Frank Quitely have always seemed like one of those perfect combinations that generate interest in the title they’re on purely because of who they are and to have them team-up on the second volume of their creation Jupiter’s Legacy makes it an easy addition to the pull-list. Mark Millar & Sean Gordon Murphy teamed up in their 4-part creation Chrononauts – which turned out to be a time-travelling roller coaster ride.
While Mark Millar had already wowed earlier in 2015 with Chrononauts it was the more recent issue #1 release of Huck that stands out in a good year for Millarworld.
The newest Millarworld/Image Comics title hits on the 18th November and Huck #1 sees Mark Millar team-up with another big name artist in Rafael Albuquerque……and this could well be another hit in a recent series of hits for the Glasgow-based writer.

Next week sees the release of Chrononauts #1 from Mark Millar as he teams-up with Sean Gordon Murphy to bring us this much-hyped new title through Image Comics. I got the chance to catch-up with Mark and see what we should expect from this and the other comics/movies that he has in the works.
Image Comics releases Mark Millar’s 6-part Starlight in a collected TPB this week and after the series made my 2014 highlights list …….I’m revisiting it.
