Madius Comics & Mad Robot Comics are already established Indie comic producers in their own right but when these powerhouses put their creative heads together on a title – it’s instantly got the feeling of something to take notice of.
Billed as a “trippy crime psycho noir” it was safe to say that I was intrigued by what Fraser Campbell & Iain Laurie would bring in their new one shot release that’s set to hit Kickstarter this Friday.
The world of indie anthologies seems to be a fairly divisive thing for the wider comic audience with a short peak at a story not always being seen as value for money but Comichaus are aiming to change that with their latest release which just hit its third issue.
Fraser Campbell follows up his impressive Cabal Comics title Sleeping Dogs by teaming up with artist James Corcoran, colourist David B. Cooper and the Jedi Master of lettering Colin Bell to bring us a double-sized first issue of Alex Automatic through Kickstarter …..and I got to fire a few questions his way.
One of the issues I picked up at this months Edinburgh Comic Con was Quilte by the in-sync team up of John Lees & Iain Laurie and after the phenomenal And Then Emily Was Gone……it was a no-brainer for picking this up.
