Just about two months ago Netflix hit us with the 3rd season of Daredevil and with it already being the stand-out series from the ones it’s produced, it had a lot to live up to.
Having ended on a cliffhanger in series two the third began to put the band back together as the life of each character were all gradually bought together as DD returned from the shadows – albeit reluctantly at first. In steps the imposing figure of Kingpin as his life in jail is firmly under his own control and he’s back in the limelight in no time and all while he brings a new foe to mess with our hero’s life. This series felt like the first of any of the Netflix shows that never suffered a dip as it never needed to drop in a filler episode across its whole run. The downside for reaching the heights that this 3rd season is that it would be its last with Disney already cancelling Luke Cage & Iron Fist……Daredevil would join that list of casualties. While we may not fully know when or even if we’ll see these characters in this form again there can be no doubt that Daredevil started on a high and got better series after series. The final and best show from the Marvel/Netflix team-up hit our screens in 2018 and proved to be a binge-worthy addition to their roster of shows.
