G-Man’s highlights of 2017: Day 11 – Teeter Topple

Back in May I stumbled across Teeter Topple by Karl Slominski and this unassuming book was an instant gem in my indie comic reading.

Puppeteer Mark survives a tragedy that sends his world spiralling out of control and with the added challenge of losing his job the cracks begin to appear between the real world & a mind-blowing fantasy world of his own making.  It sparks with energy from the beginning and the steady pace from Karl keeps the reader on their toes. He then pours a mix of art styles onto the pages that match the blur between reality & fantasy and his work on all aspects of the book give this a definite sense of direction on every page.  A glorious mix of themes that Karl juggles for our amazement and he captures our imagination with every panel……go read this……ASAP!!

Check out Karl’s website for more of Teeter Topple and his other work and keep in touch with him over on Twitter too.
